Chocolate Ganache



Chocolate ganache is the easiest form of frosting and decoration ever! I love it and use it instead of buttercream frosting on cupcakes and in between layers of cakes. I found a great recipe on Allrecipes.



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (250 ml) heavy cream
  • 9 ounces (250 grams) bittersweet chocolate, chopped

Directions:

  1. Heat the cream in a small sauce pan in medium heat. Bring just to a boil.
  2. Put the chocolate into the cream and whisk until smooth.
  3. Allow to cool slightly before pouring over a cake. Cool completely and whisk for fluffy frosting.
