Cinnamon rolls

A year and a half ago, I joined the allrecipes community. There I found a highly rated recipe for a Cinnabon copycat recipe. I made the cinnamon rolls yesterday and they were delicious!

Here's how to make cinnamon rolls:

Ingredients:
Dough:
  • 1 cup (250 ml) warm milk
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/3 cup (75 grams) butter, melted
  • 4 and 1/2 cups (560 grams) bread flour
  • 1/2 cup (125 grams) white sugar
  • 2 and 1/2 teaspoons (10 grams) bread machine yeast
Cinnamon centre:
  • 1 cup (200 grams) brown sugar, packed
  • 2 and 1/2 tablespoons (16 grams) ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup (75 grams) butter, softened
Frosting:
  • 3 ounces (85 g) cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup (56 grams) butter, softened
  • 1 and 1/2 cup (190 grams) confectioner's sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
Directions:
  1. Place the first group of ingredients into the bread machine. Select dough setting and press Start.
  2. After the dough cycle is complete, let the dough rest for 10 minutes until it doubles in size.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Roll the dough into a 16X21 (40cmX 53cm) rectangle.
  5. Spread the softened butter onto the dough and sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  6. Roll up dough and cut into 2.5 inch (6.4cm) long rolls. Place rolls into a lightly greased baking pan- Cover it and let the rolls rise for 30 minutes, or until doubled in size. Meanwhile preheat oven to 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C.
  7. Bake rolls in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown. While rolls are baking, beat together the cream cheese, butter, confectioner's sugar, vanilla extract and salt.
  8. Spread frosting on warm rolls before serving.

Yum!!!!

Enjoy!!!!
