Fabric flowers / Rože iz blaga

A few weeks ago, when I decided to make this blog,  I made some vintage fabric flowers. They look very nice. I kind of followed instructions from Maize Hutton, yet I tried to make it a bit simpler.

Nekaj časa nazaj sem naredila rože iz blaga. Sledila sem navodilom Maize Hutton, vendar sem naredila malo bolj preprostejšo verzijo.

You need:
- strip of fabric (cca. 2 inches in width, the length depends on the size of the flower)
- needle and thread
- button
- scissors

Za te rože, potrebujemo:

- trak blaga, širok približno 2 cm, dolžina je pa odvisna od velikosti rože

- igla in sukanec

- gumb

- škarje

Directions / Navodila:

1. You first fold over one end and secure it with a stitch. Trak prepognemo, nato ga pritrdimo s šivom.

2. Flip over the strip and start running a stitch. Obrnemo trak in začnemo šivati.

3. To see, when you want to finish, simply pull the thread so the fabric bunches up. Da vidimo, če želimo končati, povlečemo nit tako, da se blago naguba.

4. When you want to finish, sew together the two ends and sew the button in the center. Ko želimo končati, skupaj sešijemo končna dela traku in sešijemo gumb na sredini.

Now I just need to find a way to use them. :)
